DESIGN TIME

![]() Preparations: To prepare for this project I will have to find the wood, cut it to the correct size and then sand down the edges. I will also gather my materials which are; paint (pink, white and black chalk paint), glitter (gold and silver), paint brushes, 7 corks, 7 hooks, clear coat spay paint, hot glue, and beads. Steps: 1. Find wood, cut it, then sand the edges 2. Paint and glitter corks 3. Spay paint corks with clear paint to keep glitter and paint on 4. Paint wood board with chalk paint 5. Screw hooks in corks 6. Glue beads on the cork tops 7. Glue corks on wood board 8. Line the top of the wood board with extra beads 9. Use chalk to write on board Challenges I Might Face: I might have trouble getting the corks to stay on the board and be strong enough to hold the hooks. I am also worried about the glitter coming off easily, hopefully the spray paint will help keep it on. The Final Project: I am very happy with the way the project turned out. I like the changes I made from the original design because it made it more unique. I had no problem getting the corks to stay on the wood, the hot glue worked fine. One thing I wish I would have done is measured the board to make sure my words were centered.

I think this project is very interesting because you're doing a different project every week. I can't wait to see which one you come up with next!
